Alyce Gross was born in Youngstown, OH. After college she returned home and taught junior high school until she married. Since the births of her three children, her days have been devoted to family and Jewish organizations. She was an active member of Hadassah and Jewish Federation, serving as campaign chairman and president. She co-founded a real estate development company in Tampa, FL.
