Alyce Gross was born in Youngstown, OH. After col­lege she returned home and taught junior high school until she mar­ried. Since the births of her three chil­dren, her days have been devot­ed to fam­i­ly and Jew­ish orga­ni­za­tions. She was an active mem­ber of Hadas­sah and Jew­ish Fed­er­a­tion, serv­ing as cam­paign chair­man and pres­i­dent. She co-found­ed a real estate devel­op­ment com­pa­ny in Tam­pa, FL.
