Bentzi and the Magic Potion by Shifra Glick | Jewish Book Council

Chemda, Bentzi, and their friends have all the usual trials and tribulations that groups of friends must face — misunderstandings and hurt feelings, shyness and anxiety, wishing to do the right thing at the right time but being unsure of how to act, and uncertainties of all kinds. But now, it seems all their problems are going to be solved forever. A friend’s uncle has invented a magic potion that will fix everything. With just one sip one can be brave, one can be strong, one can be unafraid to tackle anything. A magic potion will be the answer to everyone’s problems. And after each child takes just one sip, it actually seems to work!

Follow the adventures of this group of lively friends as they learn what bravery and self-confidence are really all about and what it takes to overcome one’s fears in the real world. Written as a part of a series for Orthodox children, the values imparted are universal, wholesome, and helpful to all.
