A clever and amusing way to teach very young children which bracha (blessing) to make over which food, this book is cheerily and brightly illustrated and is rhymed with well-metered and sprightly verse. Each bracha is revealed by having the child lift a flap to learn the appropriate wording or to test his or her prior knowledge. Each bracha is repeated in full at the end of the book along with some simple background; a glossary is included as well. Recommended for ages 3 – 5.
