Small World is the first book in the author’s series of Mah Jongg Table Talk Tales. It includes the adven­tures of a pair of Jew­ish moth­ers and their daugh­ters resid­ing in and around Par­nas­sus Pines, a retire­ment com­mu­ni­ty in sub­ur­ban New Jer­sey. It’s a comedic melo­dra­ma about fam­i­ly secrets and long-lost friends and lovers, with a few good mah jongg sto­ries thrown in for good measure.
