This sweet, colorful picture book shows children learning about and enjoying daily prayers. Each daily activity, each wish, dream or hope, each instance of gratitude for what is in the surrounding world has its own appropriate prayer. With clear, simple language and cheerful illustration, the overwhelming emotion evoked is joy. The vocabulary and illustrations are geared to the Orthodox reader but with some guidance and explanation the book can be read with any Jewish child to emphasize the comfort and delight in communicating with God and appreciation for all that fills the world. Recommended for ages 2 – 6.
