Meryll retired and has entered the age of ​“Yes, I can do that!” Her activ­i­ties now include writ­ing a week­ly col­umn for the syn­a­gogue newslet­ter con­nect­ing food and the week­ly Torah por­tion and co-facil­i­tat­ing the Min­neapo­lis Jew­ish Artists’ Lab. Dur­ing her forty-nine-year career in edu­ca­tion, she taught Torah, Hebrew lan­guage, and Eng­lish in sup­ple­men­tary Jew­ish schools, day schools, pri­vate schools, and two Min­neso­ta school districts.
