Frank W. Bak­er is an inter­na­tion­al­ly rec­og­nized media lit­er­a­cy edu­ca­tor. He main­tains the Media Lit­er­a­cy Clear­ing­house and Close Read­ing The Media web­sites. His life­long work in media lit­er­a­cy was rec­og­nized in 2019 by UNESCO.
