Mary Fulbrook, FBA, is Professor of German History at UCL and author of many books, including most recently Dissonant Lives: Generations and Violence through the German Dictatorships. Other books include A History of Germany 1918 – 2008, A Concise History of Germany, and German National Identity After the Holocaust, as well as several works on communist East Germany. Fulbrook is currently undertaking research on legacies of Nazi persecution in Germany and Europe after 1945.
