Mary Ful­brook, FBA, is Pro­fes­sor of Ger­man His­to­ry at UCL and author of many books, includ­ing most recent­ly Dis­so­nant Lives: Gen­er­a­tions and Vio­lence through the Ger­man Dic­ta­tor­ships. Oth­er books include A His­to­ry of Ger­many 1918 – 2008, A Con­cise His­to­ry of Ger­many, and Ger­man Nation­al Iden­ti­ty After the Holo­caust, as well as sev­er­al works on com­mu­nist East Ger­many. Ful­brook is cur­rent­ly under­tak­ing research on lega­cies of Nazi per­se­cu­tion in Ger­many and Europe after 1945.
