Ruth Horowitz is the award-win­ning author of chil­dren’s books about bats, giant cock­roach­es, horse­shoe crabs, fam­i­ly, friends, and com­mu­ni­ty. She has also worked as a school librar­i­an and a news­pa­per edi­tor. Ruth lives in Rhode Island, USA, with her husband.
