Sara Levine is Chair of the Writing Program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has a PhD in English Literature from Brown University and was the recipient of a five-year Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship from the Woodrow Wilson Foundation. She published a collection of short stories called Short Dark Oracles in 2011. Treasure Island!!! is her first novel.
