No matter our age, we are all like children. In many realms, we ask ourselves or even others, “Why aren’t we there yet?” especially when logic dictates that we should have already long arrived. At times, we continue to wait; at others we realize that we will never arrive in the way we had hoped. It is in such instances that we need to gird for battle and ensure we aren’t crushed for good: there will be other fields of play and other meaningful opportunities if we can allow ourselves to wipe the dust off and get off the mat.
This book is about developing patience, perseverance, and purpose while navigating the roller-coaster of life through the prism of anecdotal evidence and strengthening faith through the light provided by Jewish faith.
