A native New Yorker, David Kronfeld moved to Boston for college and graduate school. During that time, he joined Havurat Shalom, an experimental Jewish community. After completing a doctorate in literature, he entered the business world and spent 35 years in corporate communications. Retired, he now lives in Manhattan with his wife, Sarah Jacobs, a Jewish fabric artist.
