Etta Gross Zim­mer­man is the proud daugh­ter of a Holo­caust Sur­vivor. She served as the Chair of the Board for the Jew­ish Fed­er­a­tion of S. Palm Beach from 2005- 2007. She con­tin­ues to serve on the Exec­u­tive Com­mit­tee. She also served on the JFNA Nation­al Women’s Phil­an­thropy Board. Etta is cur­rent­ly a Vice Pres­i­dent at the Amer­i­can Jew­ish Joint Dis­tri­b­u­tion Com­mit­tee (JDC).

Through her work at JDC, Etta has trav­eled the world exten­sive­ly and uses her pas­sion for pho­tog­ra­phy to enable oth­ers to under­stand and expe­ri­ence the needs of Jews in these dis­tant com­mu­ni­ties. She is an alum­nus of the Wexn­er Her­itage Pro­gram and the Wexn­er Lead­er­ship Sum­mit. She is a mem­ber of the Jew­ish Book Coun­cil Board of Direc­tors, Claims Con­fer­ence and serves on the advi­so­ry board for the Jew­ish Future Promise and PJ Library Inter­na­tion­al Council.
