His work has appeared in Boston Review, Kenyon Review, McSweeney’s, and other journals, and won contests at Crab Orchard Review and Southern Indiana Review. A Chicago-native and former Fulbright Scholar, he is an assistant professor at the University of Southern Mississippi and the fiction editor of Tikkun.
