Born in the UK, Judith Roumani has lived in four coun­tries. Her many vis­its to Italy inspired this book. Founder and direc­tor of the Jew­ish Insti­tute of Pit­igliano, she has pub­lished numer­ous arti­cles about Sephardic lit­er­a­ture, trans­lat­ed two books, and is co-edi­tor of Jew­ish Libya, also founder and edi­tor of Sephardic Hori­zons journal.
