Marc is Jew­ish Book Coun­cil’s inau­gur­al Chief Oper­at­ing Offi­cer. A grad­u­ate of the Uni­ver­si­ty of Con­necti­cut, Marc spent near­ly 30 years in Cor­po­rate Finance, pre­dom­i­nant­ly with­in the phar­ma­ceu­ti­cal sec­tor. He’s a ded­i­cat­ed mem­ber of Anshe Emeth Memo­r­i­al Tem­ple, in New Brunswick, serv­ing on the board for 12 years, includ­ing serv­ing as syn­a­gogue president.

In 2014, Marc com­bined his pas­sion with his pro­fes­sion, tran­si­tion­ing to a career as a Syn­a­gogue Exec­u­tive Director.

Over the past decade, he has served in this capac­i­ty at Tem­ple Emanuel in Cher­ry Hill, NJ, and most recent­ly at Tem­ple B’nai Jeshu­run in Short Hills, NJ.

Marc resides in Essex Coun­ty, NJ, with his wife Shari, a Jew­ish edu­ca­tor. They have two grown chil­dren, Adam and Emi­ly, and a daugh­ter-in-law, Taylor.
