Neville Frankel is an Emmy win­ner and author of two pre­vi­ous his­tor­i­cal nov­els, The Third Pow­er and Blood­lines. A native of South Africa, he immi­grat­ed to the US when he was 14. A Dart­mouth grad­u­ate, he pur­sued doc­tor­al work in Eng­lish at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Toron­to. Fol­low­ing a 30-year career in finance, Frankel now writes full-time. Frankel has three grown chil­dren and lives with his wife out­side Boston.
