Celebrate Jewish Book Month with #30days30authors! In honor of the 90th anniversary of Fanny Goldstein’s tribute to Jewish books in the West End’s branch of the Boston Public Library, Jewish Book Council invited 30 leading authors, one for each day of the month, to answer a few questions.
Erica S. Perl is the author of popular children’s books including Totally Tardy Marty, Goatilocks and the Three Bears, Chicken Butt!, When Life Gives You O.J. and Aces Wild. Her books have been featured on NPR, the Washington Post, Read Kiddo Read, Slate, and Amazon’s Best Books. In addition to writing books, Erica works for First Book, the non-profit organization that has distributed over 130 million books to kids in need. She lives with her family in Washington, DC, where she once met the president of the United States at – you guessed it — a book store!
