Stephen Maitland-Lewis is a British attorney and former investment banker. He held positions in the City of London, Kuwait, and Wall Street before moving to Beverly Hills in 1991. He owned a hotel and a renowned restaurant and was also Director of Marketing of a California daily newspaper. Maitland-Lewis is a jazz aficionado and Trustee of The Louis Armstrong House Museum in New York. His first novel, Hero on Three Continents, received numerous accolades.
