Sue Eisenfeld is a literary-nonfiction writer who weaves together history, nature, travel/adventure, culture, and personal stories. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Forward, Washingtonian, and many other publications, and her essays have been listed five times among the Notable Essays of the Year in The Best American Essays. Originally from Philadelphia, she has lived in Virginia for nearly 30 years.
