Susan Campbell Cross was born in Washington DC and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before moving to California to attend UC San Diego. After graduating with a degree in writing she married her college sweetheart. They moved to Los Angeles and had three kids in less than five years. Cross quit her job as a copywriter in order to be a stay-at-home super mom, but once the kids were older and more independent, she realized she’d completely lost sight of who she was as an individual. A mini midlife freak out sparked the journey that ultimately inspired her first book. Since writing The FabYOUList: List It, Live It, Love Your Life, Cross has become the lifestyle editor of SHAPE, OK! and Star magazines as well as an on-air lifestyle expert and commercial actress. She currently lives in Hidden Hills, California with her husband Kevin and their children Kayla, Rory, and Aidan.
