Susan Dworkin wrote The Nazi Officer’s Wife with the late Edith Hahn Beer. Other books include Making Tootsie, The Viking in the Wheat Field,Miss America, 1945, Stolen Goods, and The Commons. She was a long time contributing editor to Ms. Magazine. Her plays are often performed in regional theaters. She lives in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
