Adeena Karasick, Ph.D., is an in- ternational award-winning Jewish poet, performer, cultural theo- rist, media artist, and author of 14 books of poetry and poetics. Most recent honors include: MEA Outstanding Book Award; ICA Outstanding Book of the Year Award. Karasick is a Professor at Pratt Institute and Poet Laureate of the Institute of General Semantics. Her archive is at Special Collections, Simon Fraser University.
