Alice Simp­son has taught draw­ing and design at F.I.T., The School of Visu­al Arts, The New School, and Otis-Par­sons. Her art books and sculp­tures about dance are inter­na­tion­al­ly exhib­it­ed. Simp­son was nom­i­nat­ed for the Best New Amer­i­can Voic­es award by The Writer’s Voice, and chap­ters from her nov­el Ball­room have appeared in WV, Words & Images Jour­nal, and Tan­go­Dan­za Mag­a­zine.
