The sky is the limit when it comes to the internet. Ask any question and it will be sure to be answered. Just ask Gil Mann.

Sex, God, Christmas and Jews is a fascinating book about Jews and Judaism. Mann, a well known name to followers of Jewish internet sites, has compiled a collection of emails sent to him from people across the globe on a variety of Jewish-based issues.

This book asks and answers — and then Gil Mann does more. At the conclusion of each chapter and at the end of the book the author offers his readers common sense advice coupled with moral teachings and ethical direction.

Mann’s message to everyone out there — online or off — is that as long as you are arguing and acting in a Jewish context you are on a Jewish path. He does not evaluate what is right or what is wrong; he does argue, however, that the discussion must be kept within the context of the Jewish community. He suggests that once you step out of the community, your voice is lost.

The questions that are asked and the answers that are given will amaze you. This book reveals what is truly in the hearts and on the minds of today’s internet-savvy emailing Jews.
