A simple pre-school board book encouraging young children to share their toys and possessions with others is successful in achieving that goal. The board book is an adaptation of the popular 1990 book,

Labels for Laibel. Two brothers begin by not sharing corn chips and proceed to label all their possessions, so that each toy will be uniquely theirs. They refuse to share anything with each other. Their clever mother and father manage to outdo them by reciprocating their behavior, creating an age-appropriate lesson for the boys. This abridgement of the earlier book, whose characters are also Orthodox, flows well, although it is a bit preachy. For ages 2 – 5.
