Chaya Deitsch grad­u­at­ed from Barnard Col­lege with a B.A. in Eng­lish lit­er­a­ture and received her M.A. from Colum­bia Uni­ver­si­ty. She has held edi­to­r­i­al posi­tions at Viking Pen­guin and Lit­tle, Brown, and now works as a finan­cial writer in New York City.
