Claire Stanford’s fic­tion and essays have appeared in The Rum­pus, Black War­rior Review, Los Ange­les Review of Books, The Mil­lions, Elec­tric Lit, Lit­er­ary Hub, and oth­er pub­li­ca­tions. She received her MFA from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Min­neso­ta and her PhD in Eng­lish at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia, Los Ange­les. Born and raised in Berke­ley, she cur­rent­ly lives in Reno, where she is an assis­tant pro­fes­sor of Eng­lish at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Neva­da, Reno.
