Joanne Rocklin is a children’s author whose work has won many awards. Her books include the picture book I Say Shehechiyanu (Kar-Ben) and Fleabrain Loves Franny (Abrams), a 2015 Sydney Taylor Honor Book for Older Readers. She has a doctorate in psychology and is a former elementary school teacher. Born in Montreal, Joanne now lives in Oakland, CA.
