Miles Levin, a Jewish teenager from suburban Detroit, was diagnosed with a soft tissue cancer at age 16 in June 2005. He chronciled his cancer journey on a blog which was read by tens of thousands of readers and featured on Anderson Cooper’s AC360 program on CNN. Miles was awarded the Leadership in Courage Award by the Sarcoma Foundation of America. He passed away in August, 2007. His father, Jon Levin, has excerpted the blog in book form and provides commentary. Jon serves as co-author and publicist for the book.
