He writes a column on arts & culture for New York Jewish Week, and his essays and reviews appear in the San Francisco Chronicle, the Los Angeles Times, and other publications. He is the editor of Across the Great Divide: The Selected Essays of Abraham Coralnik, and has just completed his first novel.
