David Gadish is a tenured pro­fes­sor at Cal­i­for­nia State Uni­ver­si­ty, Los Ange­les. David lives with his wife Orit and their four daugh­ters on a fruit tree farm in Bev­er­ly Hills, Cal­i­for­nia. David comes from an Ortho­dox fam­i­ly (grand­par­ents), was raised in Israel in a non-reli­gious house­hold, moved to the Unit­ed States in 2002, explored Reform Judaism, Con­ser­v­a­tive Judaism, and set­tled on Ortho­dox Judaism. David want­ed to be a Rab­bi, but until then, there is this book and maybe more to come. David has writ­ten this book out of con­cern for every Jew, no mat­ter where they are in their journey.
