David Selcer, a retired lawyer, authors the Buckeye Barrister Mystery series, in which there are four books to date. His fifth book, Lincoln’s Hat: And the Tea Movement’s Anger, was awarded first place in the category for historical fiction in the Chanticleer Reviews writing competition. The Old Stories is a fictional account loosely based on his grandfather.
