Don­na Freed, a New York native, is a writer and trans­la­tor. Her trans­la­tion of Franz Kafka’s The Meta­mor­pho­sis and Oth­er Sto­ries has been in print since 1996. She has writ­ten for The Oldie and the BBC and co-pre­sent­ed Radio Gor­geous. She appeared on the Today Show in Jan­u­ary 2020 prompt­ed by an arti­cle in The New York Post.
