The daughter of Polish-born Jews who survived the Holocaust, Ellen Korman Mains began practicing Buddhist meditation at nineteen. Since 2006, she has spent over two years in Poland researching, promoting dialog, and deepening personal and ancestral connections. She leads meditation retreats and workshops on ancestral healing in both Europe and North America, and guides individuals in cultivating compassionate self-awareness. Winner of the 2018 Nautilus Silver Book Award and a 2019 Independent Publisher (IPPY) Bronze Medal.
