Eric Trager is the Esther K. Wag­n­er Fel­low at the Wash­ing­ton Insti­tute for Near East Pol­i­cy, where his research focus­es on Egypt­ian pol­i­tics. His writ­ings have appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Jour­nal, and The Wash­ing­ton Post. A native of Queens, NY and a diehard Mets fan, Trager cur­rent­ly lives in Wash­ing­ton, DC with his wife, Alyssa, and his son, Max.
