Dr. Galit Atlas is a psy­cho­an­a­lyst and clin­i­cal super­vi­sor in pri­vate prac­tice in New York City. She is on the fac­ul­ty of NYU’s Post Doc­to­r­i­al Pro­gram in Psy­chother­a­py and Psy­cho­analy­sis as well as a fac­ul­ty mem­ber of the Nation­al Train­ing Pro­gram and at the Nation­al Insti­tute for the Psy­chother­a­pies. She has pub­lished three books for clin­i­cians as well as chap­ters and numer­ous arti­cles. She was a con­trib­u­tor to The New York Times col­umn, Couch, and her New York Times pub­li­ca­tion A Tale of Two Twins was the win­ner of a 2016 Gradi­va Award. She is a leader in the field of rela­tion­al psy­cho­analy­sis, a recip­i­ent of sev­er­al awards and is a sought-after lec­tur­er here and abroad.
