Jacob moved from Cleve­land, Ohio to Israel where he found the two loves of his life, Dana and Israeli food. His love for food began dur­ing the years he worked at his mom’s cater­ing com­pa­ny, schlep­ping stacks of plates, smok­ing salmon and bak­ing bread. In Israel, Jacob found­ed a dig­i­tal media com­pa­ny that grew to 5 mil­lion month­ly users and $5m year­ly rev­enue. He want­ed to find a way to blend food into his busi­ness, and so, Jew­lish was born.
