James A. Grymes is a dynamic speaker, an internationally respected musicologist, and a critically acclaimed author. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, master’s degrees in Historical Musicology and Music Performance, and a Ph.D. in Historical Musicology from Florida State University. Dr. Grymes is Professor of Musicology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
