Janet Sternburg is an author and editor. Her previous books include The Writer on Her Work and the memoir Phantom Limb. She lives in Los Angeles, where she partners with her husband, president of California Institute of the Arts, on programs in all the arts. She is also a visual artist whose work has been exhibited internationally.
