Storyteller Joel ben Izzy graduated from Stanford University in 1983 and set off to travel the globe, gathering and telling stories. Since then, he has performed and led workshops in 35 countries. He is the author of the memoir The Beggar King and the Secret of Happiness and lives with his wife, Taly, in Berkeley, CA. They have two grown children.
