Miriam Kalman Friedman’s writing and teaching focus on women’s life stories. Her books include the reprint with afterword of Owens’s Unpredictable Adventure and the anthology Rape, Incest, Battery: Women Writing out the Pain. A playwright living in Houston, several of her plays have been featured in local festivals.
