A Detroit native, Mitchell Weitzman is a graduate of New York University and the George Washington University Law School. He is a regulatory counsel with the Food and Drug Administration, was a longtime columnist for the Washington Jewish Week. As a child of Holocaust survivors, Mitchell has long grappled with questions of faith, identity, justice, and empathy.
