Poet and anthropologist Nomi Stone is the author of two poetry collections, Stranger’s Notebook and Kill Class, as well as Pinelandia: An Anthropology and Field Poetics of War and Empire (University of California Press, 2022), a finalist for The Atelier Prize. Stone has received a Pushcart Prize and a Fulbright Award, and has conducted fieldwork across the Middle East and the United States. She is an Assistant Professor of Poetry at the University of Texas, Dallas.
