Poet and anthro­pol­o­gist Nomi Stone is the author of two poet­ry col­lec­tions, Stranger’s Note­book and Kill Class, as well as Pinelandia: An Anthro­pol­o­gy and Field Poet­ics of War and Empire (Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia Press, 2022), a final­ist for The Ate­lier Prize. Stone has received a Push­cart Prize and a Ful­bright Award, and has con­duct­ed field­work across the Mid­dle East and the Unit­ed States. She is an Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor of Poet­ry at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Texas, Dallas.
