The fall Jewish holidays are again around the corner. But for Chris Baron, Joshua S. Levy, and Naomi Milliner, it’s all Passover, all the time. Baron, Levy, and Milliner are the co-editors of On All Other Nights: A Passover Celebration in 14 Stories, which will be published by Abrams/Amulet Books on March 26, 2024.
On All Other Nights is a middle grade anthology of fourteen stories, each inspired by one of the traditional steps of the Passover seder. Including historical and contemporary stories, verse and prose, fiction and nonfiction, this one-of-a-kind collection features gifted writers from various Jewish backgrounds, who explore their own traditions alongside the seder’s themes of freedom, joy, tradition, family, and more. Chris Baron is a professor of English at San Diego City College. He’s also the author of the (adult) poetry collection, Lantern Tree, which was published as part of a poetry anthology, Under the Broom Tree, winner of the San Diego Book Award. He lives in San Diego, California, with his wife and their three children. All of Me is his first novel.
Joshua S. Levy is the author of several middle-grade novels, including the Sydney Taylor Honor-winning The Jake Show, and Finn and Ezra’s Bar Mitzvah Time Loop. He is also the co-editor of the short story Passover anthology On All Other Nights. Josh lives with his family in New Jersey.
Naomi Milliner has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s in Screenwriting from USC Film School. As a long-time member of SCBWI, she created the Authors Book Club (ABC) for published authors and illustrators to share their journey with other members. She has also served on the Women’s National Book Association’s Great Group Reads Committee since 2009. She lives in Maryland, with her husband and sons.
