Robert Wint­ner’s nov­els and short fic­tion are lit­er­ary with a twist, enter­tain­ing, iron­ic and insight­ful. His short fic­tion has appeared in Hawaii Review and Sports Illus­trat­ed. His his­tor­i­cal nov­el, In a Sweet Mag­no­lia Time, was nom­i­nat­ed for a Pulitzer Prize and a PEN/​Faulkner. Reef pho­tog­ra­phy com­pletes the opus with five vol­umes on reef cul­ture and char­ac­ters of Palau, Hawaii, the Great Reef, and more with an inci­sive nar­ra­tive on reef pol­i­tics and vic­to­ries. Robert Wint­ner is also an Exec­u­tive Pro­duc­er of The Dark Hob­by, a fea­ture film from Par­adise Film­work. Wint­ner lives on Maui with his wife Ani­ta and his many animals.
