Sharon Ann Mush­er is Pro­fes­sor of His­to­ry at Stock­ton Uni­ver­si­ty. She is the author of Demo­c­ra­t­ic Art: The New Deal’s Influ­ence on Amer­i­can Cul­ture. She is also a great grand­daugh­ter of Morde­cai Kaplan and a grand­daugh­ter of Hadas­sah Kaplan Musher.
