Sher­ry Smither has been teach­ing senior high school stu­dents to appre­ci­ate lit­er­a­ture and to hone their writ­ing skills. She also teach­es learn­ing dis­abled stu­dents learn­ing strate­gies. As a free­lance writer, she focus­es on peo­ple of inter­est in the Jew­ish com­mu­ni­ty and beyond. She serves on the Board of Edu­ca­tion at her syn­a­gogue, Adath Israel Con­gre­ga­tion. Sher­ry lives in Toron­to, Ontario, Cana­da with her hus­band and three children.
