Steven Wasser­man is a retired attor­ney. He lives in San Fran­cis­co with his wife. In addi­tion to research­ing his fam­i­ly his­to­ry, he is inter­est­ed in pho­tog­ra­phy, art, run­ning, trav­el, and cook­ing. He has vol­un­teered as a read­ing tutor, pub­lic parks’ gar­den­er, and at his local food bank. He is a strong sup­port­er of Israel, serv­ing on a non-prof­it board rais­ing funds for Israel and sup­port­ing art and music edu­ca­tion for the com­mu­ni­ties in Israel’s Ara­va region.
