Yael Ben-Zion is a New York-based pho­tog­ra­ph­er whose work often con­sid­ers the rela­tion­ship of the per­son­al to the polit­i­cal. Yael was born in Min­neapo­lis, MN and raised in Israel. She is a grad­u­ate of the Hebrew Uni­ver­si­ty, Yale Law School and ICP. Both of Yael’s mono­graphs, 5683 miles away (2010) and Inter­mar­ried (2013), were pub­lished by Kehrer Ver­lag to crit­i­cal acclaim.
